Lot of two Dominican Republic proof patterns of gold 100 pesos, 1980, one in gilt bronze (piedfort) and 1 in aluminum, rare. KM-unl. 38mm each; 42.9 and 6.seven grams. The gilt bronze piece proof with slightly dull mirror fields, the aluminum piece similarly low-grade proof, a rare pair of which only ten were minted in gilt bronze piedfort (double thickness) and fifteen were minted in aluminum, with native bust on obverse and pillar-design on reverse.Listing originally posted at http
